Yellow Tent in Milan Highlights Practical Community Help by Volunteer Ministers

MILAN, Italy — 22 January 2026 — The Scientology Volunteer Ministers have brought their iconic Yellow Tent to Milan, offering a visible meeting point for practical help and one-to-one guidance, alongside everyday “Tools for Life” that can be applied to common challenges. Previously deployed in cities including New York, London, Paris, Berlin, Madrid, Rome and Naples, the Yellow Tent is designed to let residents speak with trained volunteers and learn straightforward methods for handling stress, improving communication and resolving conflicts, as well as support after personal emergencies.

Volunteer Ministers are local citizens trained through 19 introductory “Tools for Life” courses covering communication, relationships, study skills, workplace challenges and conflict resolution. In Italy, Volunteer Ministers have supported communities during major emergencies including L’Aquila (2009) and Emilia-Romagna (2012), and have also assisted during recent floods in Marche (2022) and Romagna (2023), working with local services and civil-protection partners to help clear homes and public spaces.

In Milan, activity expanded during the pandemic period with sanitisation initiatives and distribution of basic necessities. Organisers say volunteers then continued with neighbourhood support, including over 160 consecutive Saturdays of community clean-up and support, extending across all nine municipalities of the city, while also contributing to solidarity efforts such as supporting aid shipments to Ukraine.
